In addition to an extensive array of services directed at the for-profit market, we have developed a series of products specifically oriented to the housing and community development and affordable housing programs.
In the affordable housing arena we are active in providing neighborhood and market analyses, asset management studies, valuations, workouts and financial analysis. This work has been commissioned by both profit and not-for-profit organizations.
We have completed seven major targeted assignments for housing studies in depressed urban core areas. These include a highest and best use analysis of a public housing site, two market analyses and appraisals in support of a HOPE VI application, and a very in-depth study of several ward areas located east of the Anacostia River in downtown Washington, D.C.
In addition, we have served as consultant to local not-for profits to provide development assistance for new market-based and subsidized housing. We can manage and facilitate focus groups, stakeholder meetings and charettes.
We specialize in helping clients develop housing that involves a creative partnership between the public and private sectors -- to include, preparing feasibility studies and appraisals & writing grants and proposals.
